ARCHITECTURE
STUDY OF AN EXISTING STRUCTURE
Dorchester, England
An individually led project to study and record an existing structure. My analysis was based on <<The Eyes of the Skin: Architecture and the Senses>> by Juhani Pallasmaa – aiming to base my analysis on more than simply the visual experience.
I based my study on a humble garden shed; recording the exact conditions I found it in, before studying the movement of the contents over time, for example over the course of an afternoon of gardening.
To conclude the project, I completed a large A1 graphite drawing conveying the experiences I had observed.
